@ryanseddon I just emailed it to you :)@jfroffice @kkendle Thanks! Wow, 18 May is late. I hope it finishes/ships much earlier than that. Book itself will be finished in ~2 weeks.@rgreen Hmm, good question. @MegDFoley, any ideas?@ryanseddon @webmanwlkg It should have been sent to the reviewers like 2 days ago…@ryanseddon @WebManWlkg wow, that means a lot coming from you! Did you get the updated Backgrounds & Borders chapter?

@webmanwlkg CSS ninja is taken, that’s @ryanseddon’s nickname ;)@sladedesign Following somebody on twitter costs nothing though. Not the case for preordering…@evandrobns I doubt there will ever be a hardback. I don’t even like them.@thiagovnd I will ask and let you know.@kkendle http://t.co/gssWwT1DNU It’s also on Amazon & Barnes&Noble (oh, and thanks!) #CSSSecretsBookTIL that #CSSSecretsBook has already had 750 preorders, although I’ve barely promoted it! w00t! I better buckle down and finish it soon!@lordcyphar Not only did you miss my point entirely, but you’re also too hostile and annoying for me to enjoy this conversation. kthxbai@lordcyphar And when they don’t, people are annoyed because they’re not relevant. Do you see the insanity?

@martijnsaly Here you go :) http://t.co/uUeqL29sfY@kindofone @sasscss @tabatkins Those are also in the draft :)Love the @extend rule in @SassCSS? Looks like it might be added in pure CSS, thanks to the awesome @tabatkins! http://t.co/bLhgBD6Y1I@GunGeekATX Hey, what’s the license of the text produced with Bacon Ipsum? Is it ok to include in a book?@martijnsaly @thomashpark @amyxzh There are tons of papers on how to make authoring HTML & CSS easier for newbies, does that count?@mileselam @thomashpark @amyxzh Hey, I love SVG! Just pointing out that blurriness is not intrinsic to bitmap images, but due to usage.@SassCSS Given that there's no support for cmyk() colors, is there any way to write a func that manipulates them, like overprint($c1, $c2) ?@_mestevens https://t.co/dmSaQAj1qj@martijnsaly @thomashpark @amyxzh What makes you think there aren’t? :)@thomashpark @amyxzh And @oreillyatlas is used for tons of O’Reilly *books* (mine was all done in it). Papers are less demanding re:layout.@mileselam @thomashpark @amyxzh …add a very large image and scale it down in the document. That’s how we do it in CSS as well (for printing)@mileselam @thomashpark @amyxzh Bitmap graphics don’t have to be blurry, as long as the resolution is > 300ppi. To do that, you need to …@sil Are you asking me as a shortcut to avoid reading the text?@grumpywizards @thomashpark @amyxzh Yes, but legacy is a beast.@amyxzh I was planning to do something on top of @oreillyatlas. That also supports latex for formulas & generates PDFs too, w/ AntennaHouse.@amyxzh @razsc Yay, someone else made it!! :D

@branmovic (and it’s not even that many people, to justify this kind of weird knee jerk reaction you’re having here)@branmovic WTF is wrong with you? How on Earth am I supposed to get you out of the conversation when other people are replying to you?!@ryanseddon @sixrevisions @tabatkins That’s a battle I’ve stopped fighting Ryan :)

@sci_tec I designed it (and @cerebralideas did the swords), so no, you can’t.@gryghostvisuals Yes of course. Just call Prism.highlightElement(…) manually. Really good beginner flexbox tutorial: http://t.co/GJQi26Y4Hv by @cwrightdesign@emphatikkmedia @thebabydino Because I first discovered it in Chrome? Duh.@thebabydino @LeaVerou apparently works for most programs that open PDFs from URLs. There’s other params like search. http://t.co/aCox9iVKvO

This is among the best surveys I’ve seen about how CSS is used in the wild: http://t.co/Bsj5DKF6nv Wonder if the data is publicly available!@sugarenia Εγώ αναφέρομαι σε στικάκι για λάπτοπ. @acidsmile @stefanisg Ahahahahaha, samararse! Γιατί, έχει εξαγγείλει κάτι τέτοιο; Αμα είναι, να το δω αλλιώς το κόμμα του :P@acidsmile Αχαχα, αναρωτιόμουν αν θα το προσέξει κανείς. Εμ τι, θα μπορέσω να ψηφίσω για πρώτη φορά μετά από 10 χρόνια, να μη μπω στο κλίμα;Ελληνίδες, Έλληνες: Έχει κάνει κανείς τη σύγκριση ποιο usb stick για internet παντού είναι καλύτερο από απόψεως όγκου δεδομένων / τιμής;Adding a filter to move @Github-related email to a separate folder was among my best decisions lately. Never seen my inbox so uncluttered.@revoltpuppy LOL yeah, I used http://t.co/QV7CCZbz1D as I couldn’t shorten it more.@floriancargoet @aleschmidx Also, it’s a phone number, not my SSN or password. I don’t care THAT much if 1-2 people figure it out.@floriancargoet @aleschmidx The blurring was done with a brush, so hand movement too. It’s humbling to find code of yours from years ago and discover you did the very same things that outrage you today in other people’s code.@mmastrac I live for that day. Especially if the subject indicator is re-added. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one… :P@mmastrac Ah, rookie mistake, I was looking at the TR version. This is great!!@mmastrac Really? That’s great! In the spec they’re not in the fast profile…@ryanstenhouse Good morning sir! Have a great day :)@ryanstenhouse Yup, but I said “besides making length obvious”@mmastrac Re: Selectors 4 please make it more clear that most of these will NOT be available in regular CSS. Most people will just scan.@aleschmidx Nope, but close. Did you use some sort of app or just your eyes?@smockled You can do that with CSS. input { letter-spacing: .1em }Are there any usability benefiʦ of 1 input per digit vs regular (but constrained) inpuʦ, besides mak㏌g length obvious? http://t.co/jCCl5qqYOC@tridnguyen Your code formatting adds extra lines and whitespace. Please read on about how the <pre> element works, whitespace is preserved.

@tridnguyen You haven’t escaped it so the browser is parsing it as HTML content, which @PrismJS then strips. Convert < to &lt; & you’re set.

@guptagankur249 Nope, June or later. Also, I don’t book speaking gigs via twitter. Email please.@lordpancreas Sure. Can you please remind me in late Jan - early February?@guptagankur249 Sorry, I’m not available in March :(@lordpancreas Totally! Though I’ll be in Greece for most of January.@overflowhidden Then I guess thanks are in order! :DYou know you’ve done something right when familiarity with your name becomes a job requirement :D http://t.co/L1mMnLA6AO (ht @sijdesign)@dropddesigns I believe it rounds to 1 decimal, but I don’t remember for sure.@thomasfuchs It seems that these days being offended is the only possible negative emotion. I was annoyed, not offended.@thomasfuchs It wasn’t even an offensive thing!! Just annoying. A guy posted on a dozen PRs asking when they’ll get merged & I told him off.I feel offended when I tell somebody off about anything and the reply is “sorry you got offended”. @martijnsaly Interesting idea, but will need to test it out wrt to flexibility. If I include it in my book I’ll credit you :)@dougrubino Um, ok, I guess?@dougrubino Any failed requests?@dougrubino Ok, relax, I wasn’t replying to you because I was packing, not because I was offended! Are there any errors in the console?@dougrubino @meyerweb ROFL @ “programmer term”. Did you just assume I’m not a programmer? Is it because I also like CSS or some other bias?@dougrubino @meyerweb evergreen?@sasscss @philwinkle Yeah, thought so :/@sasscss @philwinkle Much better to throw an error in those cases than to not support CMYK colors altogether.@sasscss @philwinkle You do not need a color profile to interpolate, unless that’s a peculiarity in SASS internals.@sasscss @philwinkle It would be nice if I could use it in mix() for example, and trivial to implement.@philwinkle @sasscss None. It wouldn’t convert it to anything, it would just accept it as many color functions as possible.@greystate Ah, yeah, I would love that too.@greystate What do you mean?
